Hi.
So I've had a Letter before Claim from CST Law, all looks genuine etc.
I've read through the forums and am following the advice about getting a SAR from eurocarparks and emailing CST with my intent to seek debt advince.
The problem I'm having is that the letter I have provides no email address, only by post, and the 30 days expires tomorrow.
The reason I've taken so long to get round to this is that I have very mental health and can only deal with one thing at a time, and I've had a house move to sort out. My memory is also terrible, though I had this queued in my serious stuff to sort box.
I intend to defend the claim, and can work through the forums, I just need an email for CST Law so I don't screw myself over.

I asked Auntie Google and she said: -Credit Style is a trading name of CST Law, if we can be of help to you please contact us on 0114 290 1400 or email us at info@creditstyle.co.uk2

Thankyou both, I called CST law and they gave me an email address to reply for the Letter Before Claim.
I will have a proper read of the quality link, though I am struggling to think how that would apply to my case.0 -
It's not going to matter if your reply is a couple of days late. CST are not themselves Speedy Gonzales when it comes to replies ?
Who is the parking company ? When was the ticket dated ???
How much are they claiming for ? £160 FOR A PARKING TICKET ??
So, when you reply, you deny the debt and ask them for their legal authority to add £60.
We all know it's a fake and so do CST
CST .. AKA Credit Style are currently under investigation by the SRA
The odd thing is that they never answer the question above, how can they when it's a fake ?
If CST are so stupid (and they have been so far), the next thing is a court claim whereby someone at CST will have to sign a statement of truth ....... who at CST is going to tell porkies to a judge, that is seriously contempt of court
You need to get that reply sent ..... BIG QUESTION ABOUT THE FAKE, and let us know what happens next
In the meantime, there is a dedicated thread for CST LAWCST letters' forum group thread

Ok so it's for 3. £135 each. No break down on the letter.
The carpark area was operated by Euro Carparks ltd on behalf of JD Weathspoons
I know on one of the dates (can't remember which one) the machine was broken and the phone payment system wasn't working as it kept ringing out or going in loops. That day the bar manager said not to worry about and I didn't think anymore of it.
I have emailed them, and will send the reply paperwork 1st class tomorrow.
Dates are 23-05-19, 24-02-19 and 07-02-19. I am pretty certain that I either turned up a few minutes before the free parking started, or I may of overstayed by a few minutes, but I always paid apart from the one occasion I mentioned.0 -
Most sums of over £100 are unlawful, read this and complain to your MP.
Excel v Wilkinson
At the Bradford County Court, District Judge Claire Jackson (now HHJ Jackson, a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge) decided to hear a 'test case' a few months ago, where £60 had been added to a parking charge despite Judges up and down the country repeatedly disallowing that sum and warning parking firms not to waste court time with such spurious claims. That case was Excel v Wilkinson: G4QZ465V, heard in July 2020 and leave to appeal was refused and that route was not pursued. The Judge concluded that such claims are proceedings with 'an improper collateral purpose'. This Judge - and others who have since copied her words and struck dozens of cases out in late 2020 and into 2021 - went into significant detail and concluded that parking operators (such as this Claimant) are seeking to circumvent CPR 27.14 as well as breaching the Consumer Rights Act 2015. DJ Hickinbottom has recently struck more cases out in that court area, stating: ''I find that striking out this claim is the only appropriate manner in which the disapproval of the court can be shown''.
