It would be great if you could find a way to let them see out their life cycle in peace. Bee numbers have been suffering badly and tree bumblebees are helping to redress the balance since their arrival in this country in 2001. The bees you see flying around the nest are males and can't sting and the nest will start to die off within weeks as the females move away. Maybe a better way of looking at them is that it is a privilege to host these valuable creatures that are doing crucial pollinating work that actually benefits us all. You really would have to make a very determined effort to get stung by one of these. Make some space for nature, it's good karma and can bee (pun intended) very rewarding.4

Just wait until they move on, then patch up the holes. I did the same thing with wasps, just waited until they went and patch up the hole they were using.
Bees are vital to the health of the ecosystems, if you've already had them with no issues just follow the above. No need to kill them.
