Holiday Cancelled

Hi there my holiday on 26th june 2021 has now been canceled after moving it from last year due to covid. My problem is that i booked it through Globalhoppers and they are taking £75 of my refund which is £25 person as there is 2 adults and 1 child. So my holidays been cancelled and im having to pay this , Is this right can anybody tell me

Yes, as long as those fees are outlined in the terms.2

What role are they fulfilling here? If they're construed as the organiser of a package holiday then they'd be obliged to refund in full, but could be entitled to levy such charges otherwise....0

It seems you are lucky that they have only charged £25 pp as an Amendment rather than the stipulated £50 pp as a Cancellation charge.

Whilst it seems unfair, the agent will have done work on your behalf and incurred costs to take, administer and refund your holiday booking.

Yes, they have still used staff time and office costs to book and refund for you - so they need to be paid for this as stated in their T&Cs0
