Flower or weed?

What's this orange flower please?  A couple have appeared in my garden this year, not seen them before. One's in the middle of my strawberries!

It could be either of these wild flowers called Fox & Cubs (Pilosella aurantiaca) or Orange Hawkweed which is from the same family - it might also be the same flower 😂 I’m sure someone with greener fingers than me will be along soon, either way it looks lovely and I’d keep it 😊

That's the one, if it's not going to go too rampant I think I'll move it. I'm trying to create a border with orange as the main colour so it can go there.

Possibly something in the nightshade family?

That was my instinct, particularly when I saw the roots.

Circaea lutetiana, known as broad-leaved enchanter's nightshade, is a plant in the evening primrose family 😊

Be careful with that one, or soon your garden will be overrun with enchanters

It will become rampant but fortunately easy to remove. The flower heads turn into clocks like dandelions.
Shampoo? No thanks, I'll have real poo...
