YOUGOV ignoring messages

My husband was 40p away from making it to the £50 payout and all of a sudden, the surveys stopped! He has sent them numerous messages, messaged them on Facebook and they have ignored all communication and deleted any messages I have put on their page..  Is there anyone I can complain to about this please?  Thanks in advance

Well, no, because it's your husband who might have any right to complain rather than you.

But I expect their terms make no promises that they'll continue inviting him to take part in surveys, do they?

There are people you can complain to, it does not mean that they will listen, care, or do anything, especially as it is your husband's account not yours.

In terms of YouGov surveys itself they are sporadic and it really depends what demographic niche you fit into. I get 2-3 a week for a few months, then nothing for a few months, it will depend on the amount of surveys they need targeting your husband's demographic. There is also the issue that tens of thousands of people signed up during the lockdowns as a way to get free money, something which has then meant that everyone already on the platform got fewer surveys.

Your husband will get surveys in the future that will take him over the threshold, you might just have to wait a day, a month, or a year to get them, depending on where you sit in their demographic profiles. Either that or you can close your account and get nothing.
