Hello all, I'm on the late bus today, doing nothing important just pottering around. I had a lot of dreams last night, one was about "The Donald" who kept dropping gold jewelry and tiny Wedgewood butterflies which I had to collect and put into umpteen carrier bags. Weird
Note to self "do not eat cheese before bedtime" !
We decided to go to our fav garden centre yesterday afternoon and there were a lot of cars in the car park, but there was plenty of room inside. We got our coffee and cream scone at last and I went wild spending more of my birthday money, well I hadn't spent last years either 😉. I bought a climbing rose, a new replacement honeysuckle, a penstemon and a geum, both perennials. They will all replace the side hedge that we took out the year before last and it has taken me all this time to decide 😁 I also bought a wordsearch book, some rose feed and compost, salad lettuce and spring onion seeds and an outdoor clock that Mr Fix It fancied. I'm hoping that lot plus keeping the garden tidy will keep us ( me ) busy as after tomorrow when himself has a drive through covid test we are in isolation until the treatment is finished, about mid July 🤨We have a neighbour who we call Bob the builder and an older gentleman who always walks our street with his dog who we call Laddies father, even though Laddie died ages ago 😁Mehefin I don't have much to say either 😂 I just like being nosey hearing about your animals and the family.Csarina hugs to Mr Csarina. I hope he's being a good patient and on the mend today.taff I don't know what I am, certainly not solar powered, completely the opposite whatever that is !Take care all.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9 -
There was a woman my Mum named Slippers - no matter what the season or weather - she trotted up to the local shops in her slippers. May be she didn't have any shoes?Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I'm back. Visit to Aldi, then had to put it all away, DB usually helps me, but its no foot to the floor unless you have to until tomorrow. I was shattered. Its a lovely day, the breeze is keeping the temperature down, now I have thwe screen over the back door we can sit with the door open. I am having to top the pond in the pot up every day just now.
Pleased to say DB is behaving himself, we have an appointment at the Drs tomorrow to get the dressing taken off, and replaced, then another on Monday.
Its hard work DB usually does the washing up etc, so I am having to do it myself.
Heard from the insurers, we have an inspector coming to look at the carpet to see if it can be cleaned or has to be replaced. Who ever does it is going to have to move the heavy furniture and take up the old carpet before putting the new one down. There is no way we can do it, DB is not fit and neither am I.
I jacked tonights menu and decided to do smoked haddock, poached egg and bread and butter. I have a strawberry trifle for dessert.5 -

Evening all, I did post yesterday but it got lost, I am blaming my tablet because I just have not managed to persuade it to let me on here all day and other things have been equally annoying.
I have had a busybee few days, mostly garden tidying but now it looks a bit better and my compost bin is full - for now, it is heating nicely so should go down a bit to enable me to put more in.
Gers I was so interested to see about your mum's furniture, will you know when it is going to be used?
I am too hot, not usual for me, but after a lovely day we have very calm my weather and it probably doesn't help that I've been furtling around outside.
Hoe everyone has ahad a good day.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back8 -
