Apologies if this is in the wrong thread.
I’m moving from Glasgow to Cheshire (2 bed third floor flat to first floor). I’ve been quoted £1500 inc VAT. Price includes packaging. Is this reasonable?

I think so. We have been qouted around £1900 including packaging but we have a bigger house (although moving withing the same area). So yours sounds proportionate

I don't have any comparisons, but for something which is going to involve about 8 hours of driving (plus the work at either end) it sounds good to me.

I think that is reasonable. I moved a couple of months back from West Yorkshire down to Hampshire and that was £1950 (house to a flat)

I'd agree - I've been quoted £850 for a 7 mile move and thats with me doing all the packing.

We moved the other way recently (Manchester to Glasgow) and we paid £1300 but that didn't include packing (which was stressful doing ourselves) so I'd say that's pretty good!
