I checked delivery information and bought slimline dishwasher, then on the day of booked delivery I got message that they wouldn't deliver to my flat door which is on the 2nd floor and asking me to organise someone to take it ?!?!?

I replied that my wife is waiting at home and that I checked on their official website where it says very clearly that they deliver to the door of the apartment, not just the building so they must deliver without any excuses at least to flat door, and it is also written there that maybe helping driver would be needed if there are stairs so I offered such help of my wife to hold cart, but then I got an email saying that it will be refunded ???

I sent them screenshots with mentioned above information highlighted but they clearly decided to be cheaky and cancel order !?!?! They are simply cheating on unaware buyers - I lost a lot of time and now have to buy dishwasher somewhere else🤬

They seem very decent. They can't deliver to you, and they are refunding you in full. Excellent firm! Thanks for the recommendation.

I just checked their website.   Are you in their local area and did you pay the £10 additional fee?   If you are not in the Manchester area, did you inform them that it was a second floor flat when you placed the order?

I understand where you are coming from because I live in a first floor flat and with every appliance I have bought (AO, Curry's, Very)  I have had to state which floor we are on and how many flights of stairs there are.

Nationwide deliveries (online)

Your delivery is a I man delivery, so it may be necessary for someone to be available to help the driver if there are any steps or you have purchased a large appliance such as an American fridge freezer or range cooker.

Let us know if delivery access is restricted due to:

• Parking permits
• Traffic restricted areas
• Width restricted roads
• Bus routes
• Low bridges
• Steps to property
• Building work/skips etc.
• Gravel driveways
• Upper floor deliveries with no lift

 All deliveries will be assessed on site to ensure no risks are taken that could result in damage to product, property or personal injury.
