Pet gripe of mine with Paypal asking to auto signin/link ebay accounts. I much prefer to type my password in every time.
Previously the option was Remind me later....  FINALLY!!!   Today it also offered do not ask again....  SHOCK!!!

I need a good sit down and a nice cuppa now... Maybe something a little stronger in it like TNT?
Was it that hard to do?

This would almost be a praise but they have now moved over to making me verify a transaction using the app on the phone.
I do hope that is not a new thing?

eBay and PayPal are parting ways so I expect there will be less and less integration.

The verification is a new thing with all financial institutions, my bank also recently told me I may need to verify transactions using my debit card via the app.
  • Sainsbury's keeps making me go back to my email to get a code and my credit card randomly phones a code to make online transactions. While these things are annoying I think its better than having your account hacked etc.

Well nobody has hacked my 5 character Amazon password  (yet). And that requires no checks at all, not even the cards CVC number.

I still think buyers/sellers on ebay do not need the email addresses.  That would have kept users safer by not sharing the email
addresses. Just sticking to the username.
