SP's wording may be industry speak rather than consumer friendly, but you need to accept that you do owe them money and that the meter is automatically reclaiming it. There's really no point is trying to dodge payment, and you'll just waste time and effort in so doing. One of these links may help to you reconcile your debt with your usage.https://www.npower.com/help-and-support/types-of-meter/prepayment-meters/understanding-your-prepayment-meter-display/https://www.boostpower.co.uk/help/topics/payg/traditional-payg/what-do-the-screens-on-my-prepayment-meter-mean.htmlUnless you do the sums and can prove that you've been overcharged, it's best to stop digging, move on and use your efforts more constructively. Sorry for the lecture, but that's what you need to accept.0

My personal opinion is that the OP is pursuing a lost cause. However it's not about my opinion, the OP would like to believe that they have documents indicating that their debt has been "discharged" and wants to know what they can do about this "legally". I explained that before any legal action could be taken they need to go through due process with their provider, SP. If the outcome of this process is not what is hoped-for and the OP is obliged to accept that the debt still exists then it still won't have been a complete waste of time because they are confused about this now.Reed0
