    With the limited information you provided at first was what lead to the comments that felt judgemental.
    When you explained further your why, reason for wanting to but RTB property and rent it back that gave more context.

    People can be sensitive when it comes to buying ex council properties and making profit on it.

    Each to their own. 
  • What a flap to get in about replies 
  • I bought under the RTB process so no issues with others doing the same, but amazed you went from considering buying to owning in 6 months well as getting the council to say they'd rent it back already. Pre covid it took us 9 months to just own our home.

    Personally I wouldn't rent back to the council, I've seen first hand the bodges they happily pass off as fixed.
