The answer will depend on how often you wish to buy units in the fund and how much you will be investing.

Are you lump summing £100,000 or drip feeding £100? What is cheap for one might be eye watering for the other

Also can depend if you want to hold the funds in an ISA or SIPP or neither.

Both SIPP and isa. A lump sum 13k and monthly payment £80 in SIPP and monthly and just a small sum in an isa 1k and £50 monthly

Some platforms charge a fixed fee and some a % . For the sums you are talking about a % charger is probably best .
Also a platform that does not charge extra for SIPP or ISA and does not charge for monthly contributions.
Probably you would be best with Hargreaves Landsdown or Fidelity .

For the SIPP, if you make use of its monthly investing service, AJ Bell will probably work out cheapest over the years, but if you plan to buy or sell units ad hoc, then Fidelity could work out better for you as fund dealing is free.
For the ISA, as it is very low value, you just need a low percentage fee platform with free fund dealing, so Charles Stanley Direct may be the best option. Hargreaves Lansdown, albeit not the cheapest, will probably not work out all that different at this low level of investment.
