If someone can't reverse without any aids in an Aygo then they really shouldn't be anywhere near the roads.
Some years ago, I was waiting in a shop for my other half, casually eavesdropping on the staff talking among themselves. One of them had reversed their car into a bollard, because the beepers hadn't told her it was there. She thought it massively unfair that the dealer refused to cover the cost, and her dad (who had presumably paid for it...) agreed with them and said it was her fault. The others agreed with her...0 -
Buying a car on finance is no different to buying anything else. You are looking at whatever option has the lowest cost of interest.
On used car it's nearly always much cheaper to get a unsecured personal loan. PCP loan at the same APR will always be more expensive, as there is the final balloon payment that never reduces over the term. So personal loan will cost more per month, but will be much cheaper overall.
In your current car you borrowed £7,500 at a cost or around £1,300 in interest. That's equivalent to a personal loan at 8.5%.
You can get loans at 3% and would have cost you just £460 in interest. Monthlies would have been only a bit higher too...

Probably not on an Aygo cabrio!
I do agree that camping can be done in any vehicle, just don't take as much. We used to camp in a smart cabrio. Its amazing how much interior space cars have when you need to maximise the use of it.0
