Carphone Warehouse account

Reviewing my Clearscore again this month. It is still showing me having a Carphone Warehouse account. I have not used this for years. Zero money on the account or being paid to the account. Should I close it?

Is it still active - showing monthly updates - or did it cease to be active when you stopped using carphone warehouse? All accounts will remain on your files for 6 years after they've been officially closed and settled.
So if it's 'settled' then it'll be there a while longer, if it's 'active' and the nil payments are being recorded monthly, then you could chase them up to close it down, but having it run longer does have a minor/negligibly positive impact on your credit history, as it adds to the average age of your accounts as it gets older and older.0
