    I think that it is likely there will be an increase in sales falling through, yes, and a drop off in house prices (and probably in available housing stock) after the stamp duty holiday ends. It will be interesting to see whether the stepped increase in stamp duty over time will make this drop-off more gentle. 
  • Yes i can see it for both June and September ones. I can see my own buyer pulling out as she took ages to find my place and now has been asking if I have any plans to move into rented (no, I do not). 

    However I can't see much in way of prices falling as demand in many areas is still high compared to stock available.
