First crash that wasn’t my fault help

Hi. I was involved in my first crash today that wasn’t my fault. Someone went into the back of me whilst I was stopped at a red light. I have rang my insurance, admiral, who have told me I can go through their 3rd party company auxillis for free and I will get a courtesy van (as they put it) whilst mine gets sorted. I have been sent a document to sign but I am reluctant to sign after reading some reviews of auxillis online. Has anyone had anything similar and have any advice that would help? Shall I go through my actual insurance with admiral instead?

Why not look at the third option and claim direct from the insurance company who cover the vehicle that hit you?1

Beware auxillis. Most good repair shops will provide a free courtesy car whilst yours is being repaired."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

My brother was crashed from behind at a red light, other party was at fault. He and the other occupant got neck stifness a day later, they went to the doctor who wrote them for a neck brace just incase and possible physical therapy if the issue continues. Long story short, they told the insurance company a few days later and after a few back and forths they where awarded a couple thousand each for loss of work.0

I was put through to Auxillis too (from Direct Line). Was nervous about signing it too as it said something about being liable for the cost should i be found at fault. But i went along with it and had no problems (although its a bit confusing). It's just the car hire, the insurance side of things stays with your insurer i think. Whether it would have been as straight forward if they decided that i had been at fault who knows.0
