Reference check

Hi,
I am looking to rent a place and wondered would i pass the reference check? My partner is on a fixed term 12 month contract which expires 6 months before the tenancy ends but should be going permanent earning £27,000 a year and I earn 35,000 a year on a permanent basis do you think we will pass the reference check for a place with a monthly rent of 1100 a month?

Shouldn't be a problem as you would pass affordability on your own at 30*rent, assuming everything else is OK.

    Hi ,
    Thank you for the help
So question if one person can afford *12*2.5 times the monthly went and the other person can not will this mean I pass but she would not? Or we both pass as my salary is enough to cover the entire rent?

Sorry for the questions just very worried. Maybe I am overthinking too much.

Your partner would be allowed to live with if that is what you mean.

Although if they had another couple applying who both passed the affordability checks then the LL may be more inclined to let to them as it provides a bit of insurance should you lose your job (especially as you are right on the 30x limit).
