HSBC Flexible Saver message

I have just noticed a message on the fist page of my HSBC online banking as follows.
We notice you've not used your savings account for over 6 months. Get in touch if there's anything we can help with. If you've already contacted us about this, thank you.
The account in question is a Flexible Saver which was the account my last regular saver was converted to upon maturity. It pays interest of 0.01% AER.
It made me chuckle. Who decides upon these inane messages. Surely they should be contacting you if you are using a savings account paying 0.01% to say you are losing out big time.

They threatened to close a couple of my old online bonus savers but never did.
