Has anybody managed to contact Avro energy recently?
Hi,
I've received an email from Avro stating they are increasing my DD to £377 a month which appears to be way too much. I want to urgently speak with them to discuss, as I don't want that amount withdrawn, however nobody is answering the phones and when I look online at recent reviews I just see huge number of complaints from people saying they don't respond to email.
Has anyone managed to successfully speak with them recently? Their excuse that covid is impacting their support is shocking - they have had more than enough time to find a solution!
I'm wondering whether I might have more luck phoning their sales team!

I rang them today. It asked me to press 1 if it was an emergency, which I did. My call was answered after 40 minutes. I literally put the phone on speaker and left it on the side, when they did answer I could hardly hear them and had to keep asking them to speak up and then the woman claimed there was a delay which is why she felt the need to talk over me constantly.

Email them. They've always answered my emails within 3-4 days - maybe not ideal but at least you'll be 'in the system' whereas currently time is ticking away and they know nothing about your concern over the increased DD.In fact, I'm pretty sure they need your consent to change the amount of a DD so if you explicity email them stating you do not want them to raise it so high then that might well speed up their response. Even if it doesn't, you'll have made your position clear and will have dated proof of notice.Email them now - not much point posting anything here, they won't be reading this0
