Is the poor work visible from the roadway ?

Nothing stopping you putting a sign/banner etc up saying "This building work undertaken by Mr Builder XYZ"

They seem keen to put their own signs out advertising their business whilst undertaking work, nothing to stop you advertising on his behalf.

If the poor work is blatantly visible, you don't even need to mention it
