External hard drives

Hi Please can someone explain the difference between these 2GB HD's?
It is just for backing up PC work etc and not gaming.

I've probably used all of them and not noticed any differences myself. Though I've never looked into the security feature side of things or anything else fancy. I just plug it in and copy files over.

Why Currys?

Better note the forum is money saving expert so get the same ones of your choice from other places (such as the other suggestion above though there are other sources too!!!)

Just make sure you get one with compatible usb version for your pc.

I don't know if it's the case here but it always used to amuse me when someone with an enormous desktop PC case asked me about external hard drives. What did they think all that expansion space was for?

Quite often external hard drives are more about storage portability than expansion, they're referred to as portable hard drives for a reason.

and portable as in you connect them to do the backup onto to the external drive and then remove it and put it somewhere else away from the PC for safe keeping
