Hi
Hoping people might know where I can buy a round edge self adhesive bath seal strip please? Like this but with better reviews Diall White Round edge Self-adhesive Bath seal (L)2500mm (W)17mm | DIY at B&Q
I need it for Saturday so need to be able to pick up from a store physically. The only other stockist I have found is Wickes, but again the product doesn't have good reviews. I have seen the bath seal strips (tape which folds in 2) but not sure if they are as effective at keeping the mould at bay. The plan was to get the sealant replaced around my bath, and then put one of the round edge self adhesive strips over it. Thanks in advance for any help.

Don't. Just seal it correctly with a good mould resistant bathroom sealant, I use Dow 785, and leave it at that.
Also a decent sealant profiling tool will help a lot.

That isn't a solution. If you have movement in the bath, that it what you have to stop. That beading is something that *might* help the symptom (read won't) but will never deal with the root cause.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

As above, don't waste your time with the strips. Clean out the old sealant, fill the bath, and just use 785 or the like.2

…..is the right answer (the filling the bath with water before applying the sealant is the most right bit too)Grenage said:As above, don't waste your time with the strips. Clean out the old sealant, fill the bath, and just use 785 or the like.1 -

I've used the byretech shower seal and it's very good. It comes with some decent silicone sealant as well.Another_Level said:https://www.byretech.com/ sell some alternative solid quadrant perimeter seals.1
