I use Credit Karma to look at my credit file but I was wondering are there are any other services free (ideally) or paid that I should consider also?
Credit Karma has come in use as I had a closed account that was still showing up as open on Credit Karma.

Probably should've posted this in the credit ratings forum, but yes there are others.
https://www.clearscore.com/ shows your data from Equifax.
https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/creditclub/ shows your data from Experian.
Both are free.
(Credit Karma shows your data from Transunion.)

As an alternate to the above free options (MSE Credit Club, Clearscore or Credit Karma), you can also request your data directly from the 3 CRAs (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion) by requesting a copy of your "statutory credit report" under GDPR. Ideally you should be checking all 3 reports on a regular basis.1

Checking your report weekly is sensible to catch anything dodgy going on, not just occasionally - that will also pre-empt potential credit problemsDeleted User said:
