She'll need to declare it at renewal, as will you.
  • Ok thanks
I spoke to my insurance, i do not need to declare anything it is just that i have less NCB as they were not protected.

You need to be careful here... If you are getting insurance with both of you on it then what you have been told is correct as you would not need to declare the claim twice, however - and this is where you need to be careful - if you were to get quotes/buy a policy with just you as the driver then you would have to declare the claim as it was under your policy, in the same way that your wife will need to declare for her own policy....
All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.
  • I'm a named driver on my wife's policy. Small car, private insurance. Unknown 3rd party dented our car whilst parked and the claim has been recorded on both drivers. I think this is wrong. The insurance company claims, that I have advised them (when reporting the call) that I was the last person who drove the car last (I was in charge of the vehicle). I think it's irrelevant who drove the car last, as we don't know who damaged the car or where it happened. All we know that it must have happened whilst parked (at home, work, supermarket...). We think the claim should have been recorded on the policy holder only. Are we correct? If yes what to do next, if the insurance company doesn't want to change it on CUE database?

If you dont know how/when it happened how do you know you were the last person to drive the car before the damage was done?
