Got quoted £500 for scratch repair

Hi everyone,
I rented a car from a private rental company. Upon return they notice a new scratch and dent on the side of the car and quoted me over £500 to fix it. I don't have any experience with body work repair so I was really surprised when I received the bill. I have attached the photo of the scratch here as well as the quote breakdown for reference.
Please tell me guys if this quote is fair and if it isn't how can I go about disputing it? Please beware the quot is not from the rental place itself but from a third party garage.
Many thanks to all.

Better off asking in the motoring section, this is for home repairs / work.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1

Also, of course it's not fair. They probably won't even have the work done, but rather just be £500 better off. It's the game car hire plays - they make their money on the hideously overpriced insurance/repair bills - and it's the game you play by declining the insurance.
You could get another quote, and offer them that.1 -
Shouldn't take more than 3-4 hours to fill and spray that dent. As for £75 for paint and materials..... I have a hard time believing a small pot of paint is going to cost anywhere near that much.http://www.mrdent.co.uk/prices-for-pdr/4529851947 gives a much more reasonable list of prices for dent removal. That said, your dent will need painting, so the cost will be a bit higher.
Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
Thanks all. I did ask and they said that they can't accept to have another place repairing it because they need it done asap so they can rent it out again.
The quote is not directly from the car hire place it's from another garage to them so I really don't know how I can argue it...
