If their renewal quote is more expensive than others, just... move.

There's no reason whatsoever to display loyalty to an insurer.
  • Get on Topcashback, try their own comparison service and offers available from other companies.
I have just received £40 cashback on a policy that cost £152.
Loyalty with any insurance company should be consigned to history !

Then shop around and go elsewhere.  Use the comparison sites.

I'm well aware of all that, just wondered if anyone else had a large increase, it used to be very competitive.  By  miles is cheapest, but has a £300  excess.

My esure renewal was £12 more than last year. Every other insurer is apparently giving refunds and big discounts because of Covid too :'(

I really can't be bothered spending hours shopping around and filling in forms to save £20-£30 though, so I renewed.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

Same here, mine with RIAS has just gone up by 54%
Rang them up not much movement, so will be going elsewhere
