Morning, hugs if you need one. Ger, pleased to hear you will have help clearing DM's home. Do be sure you take breaks now and again.
Overcast this morning, we had rain overnight, after DB had watered the garden, typical!! Not sure if the sun will break through later. I be honest I will be grateful for a cooler day.
Only 5 of us at the coffee morning yesterday, there had been some sort of 'do' at the chapel and there was a tray of muffins left over, so we had muffins instead of biscuits.
Did not venture out in the afternoon, it was too hot, DB stayed inside too, just going out after 8pm to water.
Had a really bad day with the book cushions, so have decided to leave them until next week, one of them is going to have to be undone at least on one side.
Supper tonight, new spuds, gammon ham, and salad.

Hello all, another sleepless night because it was so muggy, I thought it would be fresher after the rain storm yesterday but I was wrong.

This morning I was up early ready for a sm delivery, which came first thing. There were a couple of things MIA, 2 items subbed and a box of eggs smashed en-route. We have sorted Dad's shopping and will take it up about 10.30am as lately he's a late riser like me. I have already stripped the bed and the bedding is in the wm, then I have a list of things to do today so I'll work through them until I run out of steam. I need to make a list of the party food ready for cooking fresh tomorrow and wash the party dishes that I will need too.

I'm now sat with my second cup of coffee while waiting for the wm to finish, then I'll hang the washing out. I hope it will dry, even though it's overcast it is still very warm.

Good afternoon all, hugs and spoons to all that need/want them.
Dull start and muggy here, but sun out now, had some steady rain yesterday, hoping forecast correct for a a fine afternoon as bedding in washer.
Hoping to do some weeding and also start packing for our holiday at Delamere Forest next week, still no cake made, OH may have to put up with bought ones.

Very hot here. Mr F has gone out to buy ice lollies.
DD text me - she found a needle in the bags of repairs that I gave back to her - that was my favourite sewing up knitting needle - been searching for it.
Pest control man came and removed a very smelly squirrel - just 1 of them when it sounded like a family up there. So £180 for a squirrel.
