Dust Extractor for Woodworking

I’ve recently taken up woodworking and up-cycling having inherited a lot of power tools. My one problem is the sawdust. I know you can get dust extractors but I’m confused by all the different brands/prices. I have both corded and battery powered tools, most of them are Dewalt or Makita. I also inherited an older plug in Dyson that’s in good nick. Could that be converted? If not can anyone recommend a decent but inexpensive dust extractor.
Thanks

Iv'e got a Triton DCA300 that goes between hoover and the hand tool, works quite well, need to take lid off every now and then to clean filter as it does get blocked quite quickly when sanding MDF.2
