Vaccine and medical appointment during quarantine period return from Amber

Hi,
My wife and I had to travel to an Amber country for a family emergency. We have returned and are now isolating with Day 2 and Day 8 tests.
1. I got a call for my second vaccine appointment this Saturday, am I allowed to travel to the site to get the vaccine shot?
2. My wife has a doctor's appointment - (35 week scan) for baby during quarantine. Is she allowed to go to the appointment?

No to getting your second jab.
No to a routine doctors appointment, for marginal cases:
” You’ll need to consider carefully whether your circumstances are exceptional circumstances that require you to leave your place of quarantine.”
You may want to consider doing test to release on day 5, if you are in England. The reason being that if your wife had a pregnancy emergency she could leave isolation whereas you couldn’t accompany her unless you had done TTR.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. You'll be asked if you've travelled outside the UK when you go for the vaccine appointment anyway, so reschedule it ASAP.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing1
