I need to draw cash out from my Lloyds account tomorrow for about £10k. Does anyone if they expect to be given notice if it is in a current account.

You should be fine to draw the moeny out with a drivers licence or passport.
I would ring them first to ensure the branch has £10k in funds available.0 -
I would ring first.
If its a big branch they will probably have the cash spare - if its a small one they might not have immediately - but Mondays normally being quite busy with shops, pubs etc paying in weekend takings you might be ok by the afternoon.
Also take ID with you to speed up the process.
They will ask you why you need to take out so much in cash - please don't take offence - its in the cashiers procedure to fill in a form why you need it and what ID you have. This is to do with money laundering and also to protect you from someone cleaning your account out.
If its your local branch where the cashiers know you this will be better.0 -

Just to let you know the transaction went very smoothly and Lloyds were up to their usual high standard in customer service.0
