Need a Rant

Grrrr I dont know where to start, i just need a rant! (I apologise in advance for people who have been going through this process a lot longer than i have). I am currently going through the process of purchasing a leasehold Flat, our offer was accepted in February and everything has been going smoothly up until the past few weeks. We received the management pack on 10/05 and three enquiries were raised the day after, one for the Freeholder and two for the management company. The EA is absolutely useless and every time we call all she does is ask us when we want to complete. Anyway we have been pretty patient with these enquiries and on Thursday were told they are still waiting on a response from the management company. We took the decision to email them ourselves over the weekend and they were super helpful, informed us they answered what they could that same day but advised as they do not act for the Landlord they could not answer one question. But, they will do whatever they can to help so we can contact them whenever. We decided to take the plunge today and contact the Freeholder ourselves to see if there was anything we could do to push things along, who advised they haven't even been contacted by anybody!!! So i feel like I've just wasted three weeks of waiting for literally nothing. If i hadn't chased myself and contacted anybody then god knows how much longer i'd be waiting!

Get rid of the EA1

Best to put your queries through your Conveyancing Solicitor than the vendor's EA.0

The EA isn't able to answer the queries, all they can do is to tell the vendor that they need to get onto their freeholder/management company as they are holding things up.The freeholder claims they haven't received anything, so presumably you asked the query and they gave you the answer? They probably just ignored the letter/email (or it's in a junk folder).0
