Debt relief order and mobile phone contacts.

I am thinking about applying for a dro can anyone tell me if I can include mobile phone contracts in it.?

Yes you can1

You can include most simple contract debts in a DRO.
The following ‘excluded’ debts don’t count towards the permitted limit in a DRO :
- Criminal fines
- Student loans
- Child Maintenance Service arrears (or CSA)
- TV licence arrears
- Social Fund loans
- Damages for personal injury ordered by a court

Thank you can ie virgin block the phones once debt relief order starts because I was unfortunately getting phones on contract and them selling them to pay my bills.0
