Ring Smart Lightbulbs UK yet?

We were burgled last year whilst away on holiday so had Ring doorbell and cameras installed and they work well. Would now like some random lights to come on indoors while we’re away next time. I can’t find Ring bulbs on their website though they’re available in the US. Don’t want to spend too much more but wondered if anyone has insights or ideas, please.

Smart bulbs (or switches) linked to Alexa/Siri - I suspect either can be configured to turn lights on/off at preset times. My preferred option would be to have something like Home Assistant running on a small computer tucked away under the stairs. HA is somewhat complex to set up, and isn't for everyone but it beats having to pay for a third party provider and means you are not stuffed if/when the internet goes down.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -

Just get yourself some smart plugs and connect them to lamps, a radio, TV etc. They can be set up to come on at regular intervals or completely random. Look at TP-Link's Tapo or Kasa range1

That’s what I did in the end (Kasa) but they don’t work with the radio, annoyingly.neilmcl said:Just get yourself some smart plugs and connect them to lamps, a radio, TV etc. They can be set up to come on at regular intervals or completely random. Look at TP-Link's Tapo or Kasa range0
