Morning all, it was beautiful first thing but it's now clouded over and I don't know if we'll miss the thunderstorms later or not. We're back from the hospital and was in and out before the appointment started. Upshot is Mr Fix It has signed up to 4 weeks of radiotherapy at Velindre in Cardiff. It's another slowing down tactic as the meds aren't doing their job any more on their own and fingers crossed there will be no extra side effects disturbing other organs. We were half way home when we received a call from the radiotherapy dept with a targeting appointment for Friday but we changed it for 9am on Monday, now that's what I call service !The wm is already on with our clothes, the masks have been washed and several coffees have been downed by moi as the first one didn't touch the sides ☕ 😋I have several tasks to get through today and I've the dreaded ironing too, including 4 pairs of my summer trousers, I'm just hoping it's not already over
Later I shall strip the chicken carcass and make chicken fried rice for tea, there's some HM curry sauce from the freezer to top it off.
Take care all, hugs to the poorly ones and anyone facing difficulties in daily life.nan xxSorry I forgot to thank everyone for their continued support, it is much appreciated 🧡Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9 -

Fingers crossed for you both nanny. They were lovely in Velindre [apart from maybe one or two receptionists who were channeling some kind of fascist thug] , and it's fairly easy to get to but parking can be a nightmare. Easier to get a space around the back. Thats if you haven't been before.

Thanks Mehefin and taff. Unfortunately we have been before, 6 years ago when we went through the rigmarole of the targeting etc and then the oncologist decided to cancel the radiotherapy the day before it was due to start ! It's just the M4 traffic that is off putting
Think it should be renamed the M4 car park as most of the time it's nose to tail or at a standstill.
This afternoon I've been busying myself cleaning out the fridge ready for the sm delivery tomorrow and cleaning the stairs, hall and dining room, even the glass panel doors had a wipe overNow himself is looking a caravan sites and moaning that we can't go till after the treatment, still whatever keeps him sane is ok by me. ( I'm way past redemption on the sanity front 😂 )
See you tomorrow, lots of love to all.nan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently10
