  • Hello :D

Virtually no difference between them. Both are accepted at over 20million outlets worldwide.

You will normally find that where a company accepts one card, they will accpet the other

Only main difference in credit cards are APR's and Charges (late payments) but these are Service Provider (Natwest/HSBC etc) valued.

Two different companies that facilitate card transactions. Very little between them but I suspect VISA is accepted in more places that Mastercard.

There is a big difference in the Debit cards though - you get the same protection as any credit card with Visa, nothing with Mastercard/Switch/Maestro.
  • In the UK/Europe/USA there is no difference but when you go to asia/scandanavia etc sometimes one card is accepted over others

If you do any gambling with cards (obviously only risk-free gambling though!), you would probably want to go with a Visa card, MC have some very strict rules on using cards for gambling.
