Coincidentally my Dad's Bosch mower packed up on the very same day (mental eh), he didn't attempt to fix but is convinced it was the switch.. His handle might be okay...!

I would have thought a new handle could be purchsed. Espares perhaps

If a new handle isn't available something like one of the Gorilla Glue range will probably stick it back together.

Can you remove that handle? It can almost certainly be repaired, but might need reinforcing internally - if it's hollow.
(In addition to using plastic solvent or similar to weld the actual crack back together.)

Right so I'm a mixture of proud and ashamed in equal measure... Mower is working...
The part connected to the now white button, which engages the switch, I felt just wasn't going far enough due to the play in the handle...
I broke a pen lid clip on half to the right size, so say 1.5mm, gaffa taped on a few times and plugged it in.

It came on immediately! So a bit much, on the second go it required a slight push, so, I figure it'll last me a little while longer at least :)

    Such a hack!

Oh and I did consider gluing but my gorilla glue and super glue had gone hard, plus using this with a toddler in toe was bound to be a disaster lol

Lol no, emptying the shed out, five bin bags today! An activity which arguably would ha e been better in old trainers too!
