I am travelling to Cyprus for work on June 11th, but i cannot seem to find a company that i can purchase excess waiver car hire insurance through as Cyprus is on the FCO advises against all but essential travel, so if anything happens it will invalidate the policy.
Anyone any idea of Insurance Co's that may cover me? TIA

Don't most car hire companies offer this themselves locally? I always seem to get the hard sell for this whenever I'm picking up a hire car....
Shouldn't it be your employer's problem anyway?0 -
Hi, so yes the local Companies do offer this at pick up, but it's silly expensive, compared to the annual policy i buy in the UK, usually for about 40 quid here.eskbanker said:Don't most car hire companies offer this themselves locally? I'd rather an annual policy based in the UK if possible.0 -
