Thanks. One other thought. Since it is only 2 watts or thereabouts, you might find a solar charger to run it (in daylight at least). Looking at the replacement pumps, they work down to 3.5 volts, so hopefully the volt-drop along a longer cable would not be a problem (but then I've got no idea what the resistance of a cheapo usb cable is!)
Are the cats using it, by the way?1 -
