What are Hsbc isa total fees?

I’m looking to open an isa with low cost fees? Vanguard is the obvious choice and was thinking of lifestrategy 80 or global all cap. Also I’ve heard good things about hsbc global strategy and quite interested in the dynamic portfolio but can’t seem to find any clear indication of hsbc fees as I want to know the total overall fee cost for that fund or if there are any cheaper companies that I could invest in the hsbc global strategy dynamic. As I want to compare fees with the vanguard?

The fund fees should be spelled out on the platform you’re using. For example if you want to use HL the platform fee is 0.45%, regardless of what fund you have. There are cheaper platforms out there, HL is on the expensive side.

Still with HL the fund fee for HSBC Global Strategy Dynamic is 0.20% and for VLS 80 it’s 0.22%

Vanguard’s platform fee is quite low compared to competitors, at 0.15%. The downside being that you can only invest in Vanguard funds. Depending on how much you have to invest a platform which charges a flat fee rather than a percentage might be even more competitive.

It depends upon the sums involved (£1,000, £101,000 or more), how often you trade (monthly, annually or less frequently) and what you invest in (funds or shares). What will be cheap for one person will be expensive for someone else. You need to tell us more

The fees are clear from the HSBC website . For the GS Balanced for example.

Platform cost is 0.25% + fund cost is 0.19% = 0.44% - no buy or sell fees .
In the document you will also see internal transaction costs within the fund ( Vanguard funds also have these ) . They are forced to publish these but many people think they are not really relevant ,
