Data Protection Breach?
Hi All,
I am a newbie. When Yorkshire Energy folded our supplier automatically became Scottish Power. They sent our bill to a stranger's address, which they had on their system as a correspondence address. We have now received a final bill at our correct address but should I make a complaint? And is this a wider issue for former Yorkshire Energy customers?

The only personal info on a bill is your name and address which anyone can get from the E.R. Wouldn’t think any more about it.0

You can complain to the Data Controller at Scottish Power. You’ll likely get an apology, maybe they’ll make a small goodwill gesture, maybe not. If you feel it necessary you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) about SP.
Haven’t seen it reported by any other ex~YE customers, and there was a very long thread about the YE-SP transfers.0
