Morning all, another lovely sunny day in store. We had a very chilled day , with a bit of tidying in the back garden yesterday and DH did another bbq for tea. He's back at work today, and I need to make some payments for the business but that won't take me long. I had an email yesterday from e bay saying I had a refund as some trainers I ordered had been cancelled by the company, who cited their reason for the refund ' the customer requested a refund'. No I didn't! Anyway ordered some more from somewhere else, urgently needed as mine are definitely worse for wear,it's annoying as the 1st pair would be here tomorrow.Tea will be finishing random bits from the fridge, a pizza and ribs. I've had to get my sm order for tomorrow as we have DH aunt's funeral on Thursday when I'd normally get it, & there weren't any suitable slots for Friday. A lot of stuff unavailable too, perhaps because it's straight after the BH. Reminds me I need to iron the white shirts for the menfolk & look out the black ties too, then there's no last minute panic on Thursday morning.Gers glad you can get your garden sorted, that will be lovely for you once you return.Right, must get on, take care in the sun x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Just zipping in as am in the middle of doing things outside in the lovely sun . Slightly marred by finding a big fox poo. This has gone on a short but exhilarating flight now.
Nothing much else happening here, we are still not socialising as waiting for our second jabs - the invitation to book online came, the dates available clashed with appointments for DS and although we checked daily it took 2 weeks for more slots to become avaluable but now we are booked for mid June.
Gers, I'm hoping the final tasks are not too painful and sending love. How nice that your mum's art group can use her supplies. Snoozer, I think I posted about your nasty renters, that's pretty low.

Late again, but in mitigation we have been out for most of the day The traffic through the narrow roads and bottle necked small town and villages was very slow - the reason we have to leave so much extra time for our journeys.
My hospital visit went well, The whole wing had been completely updated since I was last there (pre-Covid), brand new entrance and reception, areas colour coded and great new and very clear signage. Infusion took longer than they had stated, but not a problem, I had taken my Kindle, and DOH and DDog were parked up outdoors at roof level, the whole of the multi-storey car park was only half full, the result of all those telephone follow ups I guess. Called into SM on the way home for ready meals as I am bushed, Chicken Korma for me and a tasty Spag Bol for OH.
Gers I hope that you have been having a productive day, when my FIL died OH and his DB and us partners took almost a year to clear his properties, we lived 3.5 hours away and BIL 2 hours and we were all working full time. About every 3 weeks we would all head to Birmingham, book into the best deal budget hotels we could find and slog at it for the weekend.
There were 2 semi det Edwardian houses, 3 storey plus cellars, outbuilding and an undercroft, all rammed with the stuff that as a builder FIL thought would come in useful, plus all the ancient (not in a good way) furniture and effects which had furnished 4 letting flats. The nice men at the tip used to just wave the boys straight in LOL.
I hope that you all have a good evening and as much sleep as needed. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)5
