What small DFW things will you do this week 31/05/2021

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important 😀

Good morning all,
Today I am aiming to have a NSD.Have been out for my morning stroll. I went a bit earlier today and it was very quiet. I have cleared out the freezer so feel like I have achieved something. Be it very small.
Will try and keep busy with work. There is a lull at the moment so that might be hard.
Hope you are all keeping well.4 -
Sorry folks, need to catch up but RL has been a bit hectic (in a good way - finally at work). Will post properly soon!

Back for another week! And thanks for starting a new thread to keep us all going.
A few spend days after payday this week. I am aiming to get all my essentials sorted so I reduce the habit of spending here and there randomly. At least now I have a budget.- I am aiming for more NSDs this month.
- Check bank accounts, slot them in a new section of my journal to track progress.
- Arrange debit transfers to my shiny new 0% balance transfer card. Goodbye interest!
- Update diary
- Aim to book a few days off so I can get decluttering (and selling) again.

Morning folks
@Reindeerdippin - just caught up with last week. Welcome to the thread and I'm sorry things are so tough and up in the air for you right now. Lots of us have been here for years and we've seen each other through all kinds of thick and thin so you are very welcome here
Sorry for being awol last week, it was just so hectic with 5 full days of work, commuting, gym, and trying to fit everything in around it! It was nice to be so busy though. Made me appreciate my bank holiday more. I had my first jab on Sat morning. Felt very tired sat afternoon (although could have been the gym) then really ropey on Sunday morning. Started to perk up a bit about lunchtime then felt ok by teatime.
Today I'm wfh but with a huge list of things:B/L/D from stores
Plumber coming to fix sink trap... but between 8am and 6pm
Possibly catching up with a friend at lunchtime but she often cancels last minute dt MH. I don't mind but makes planning slightly tricky
Clean the bathrooms. Did one while my porridge was cooking!
Try to nip up to the allotment and water transplanted plants
use free app to track cals. Am not dieting per se but just "keeping an eye on things". I do feel less bloated already
Have a good one all

Had another NSD today. I am pleased with myself about that.
Have started having a bit of a declutter. I am not sure where all the stuff has come from.
Hope you are all having a good day.4 -
