That clarifies a lot, thank you..and yes Ive been checking every few days and will continue to do so.KeithP said:
The CCBC sent you a letter saying the Claimant had twenty eight days to consider your Defence.Bizzle17 said:
Im just wondering, its been over a month now since the last update..at which point can I assume the claimant has decided to drop the claim?Le_Kirk said:
Good, that states that you submitted the AoS in APRIL not JUNE, which a) makes more sense and b) means your defence was probably late - just. You had better hope the claimant has not requested judgment by default.Bizzle17 said:What you don't know is when the CCBC sent a copy of your Defence to the Claimant. It follows from that that it is not known when the Claimant has to respond to the CCBC.Further, we don't know what delays there are in the CCBC that means they don't send you a DQ as promptly as you might like. Can I suggest that you keep checking your MCOL Claim History and as soon as you see that the CCBC has sent a DQ to you, you are ready to download a DQ, complete it and fire it back to the CCBC, remembering to send a copy to the Claimant of course.0 -
They are not going to drop a claim at this early stage.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

A DQ was sent to me to fill out, Ive seen on another post to send the email to complaints@dcbltd.com, Ive already sent it to CCBCAQ.
Just wanted to check this is the correct email?0 -
Can't be right because you aren't sending it to DCB Ltd, you are emailing it to DCB Legal.
Paul@dcblegal.co.uk will work.

I may have already told you on this thread, not sure, but don’t forget please to come back here regularly this Summer, ready to spend an hour being heard to Government by completing the upcoming Final Technical Consultation about regulating the levels of parking charges from next year.Coming soon...
...please check back on the forum each week as we need real people like you to counterbalance the spamming of the Consultation by the industry and people purporting to be ‘landowners’.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all, I have the ws from the claimant here: https://we.tl/t-3gySBWQ2SM
In my defence I'm going to state the following reasons:
1. It was a very long time ago and am struggling to remember the alleged offences
2. Other people had access to my car. My partner at the time who was also insured on the vehicle and friends that also occasionally used my car.
3. Disputing clear signage
Not sure if this is good enough but any advice greatly appreciated0 -
When is your Witness Statement and evidence due to be filed with the court and served on the claimant?
Usually the claimant leaves serving their witness statement until the last minute, so to have received that probably means that your submissions are overdue.
Please check that.1 -
You are way beyond defence stage now (having already submitted it) and you are at witness statement (WS) stage. You need to write your WS which backs up and supports your defence that you have already filed.1

The trial date is 25th April, I received their documents on the 1st April. Where would I check to see when the defence stage has to be in by?0
