Just had decking refurbished as had rotted.  Looking great now but want to put my pots back but also to protect the wood.  I have some bricks from another project.  Is it ok to sit the pots on them as can’t afford to buy lots of pot feet?

I think moisture will gather under them and mark it.
What about drip trays under the pots, they can be painted on the outside if necessary, use self adhesive cork circles under the tray or pots? They are made to stop things marking furniture and if they do leave a mark it will be small and circular, easy to refinish.
You can usually find them in diy or cheapie shops.

Drip trays outside will soon overflow and leave you with the question of protecting the decking from the underside of the drip trays - I think you may want something like pot feet with as much airspace as possible - but no need to buy.  3 or 4 bricks for really big pots, broken crocks works for smaller ones.

I saw something the other day where the cork from wine bottles were used, also gives you a chance to drink!

I also wondered about suggesting you use one of those cast iron trivets that were so in when "shabby chic" was all the rage because they tend to have very small feet so would make less of a mark on your decking.
Something like this Symple Stuff Octopus and Fish Trivet | Wayfair.co.uk  and if have time to trawl your local charity shops you'll probably be able to find them for a pound or two.

what about a 'wooden wheeled plant stand' ? It would take out any hassle bending to move around..and lift the planter from the decking.  If you google there are lots available
