Online Passport Identity Verification

Hi, I'm sorry if this has been covered in this forum already. 

Last night I applied to renew my 6yo daughters passport. All online forms have been completed, digital photo uploaded and fees paid. 

We have been sent a link to get someone to confirm her identity, using the application number. 

Unfortunately when accessing the page, it returns a message which say "sorry this service is unavailable" 

We have received SMS reminders to confirm identity, each time the service / link fails to allow us to progress the issue. 

Has anyone else had this issue, or can anyone offer advice?

You phone the call centre and ask them to send you a paper version and ask your referee to complete it. You can then send it in with your daughters old passport
