Morning, hugs if you need one. Enjoy your time away at your cottage Gers. You so deserve it.
So yesterday we took the hanging baskets to the nursery to get them filled and order more compost. We had hoped to get coffee but the little tea room is not open yet.
I decided to cook tonights supper last night, we are off on a jolly after lunch and I will not want to start cooking when we get back,I am going to do a bacon butty a bit later. There is a quiche in the fridge and can easily whip up a salad to go with it.
DB is tidying behind the shed, it is a case of out of sight, out of mind, and it does tend to get a bit untidy. Now all the pots etc have gone it will be much easier to sort it out and tidy it up.
I have surveyed the estate, all the plants we put in are settling in, we did water last night, will not do it again until tomorrow night. Its to be quite warm today, much hotter tomorrow.
Snoozer, I could not believe the state those people left your house in, it is awful, breaking in to locked cupboards as well. DB always laughs at me when we have a 'caravan' or cottage holiday......when we are leaving I strip the bed and put any towels we have used with the bedding and then go round with a cloth and the hoover if there is one. I always remember my grandmother saying leave a place as you would wish to find it. Before we set off from home I change the bed and whip round the bathroom etc and hoover the carpets, the place is clean and tidy when we get back and we get into a clean bed.

Our neighbour is home for the weekend and bank holiday Monday so no fish feeding duties until Tuesday.
Not as warm here as the forecast but at least it is dry.
Church was Trinity Sunday - we were given a pack of jaffa cakes to take home - yummy with a cup of tea.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
