Short term let with good internet

Options
Hi, there’s a possibility in my house move that I may need to sell my home and move out several months before my next property is available, if so I would need a short term let, the advantage of my job is home working so I can work from anywhere. All my possessions will be in a storage unit except essentials, so I’d need something like a 1 bed furnished property. The disadvantage is that good reliable and fast internet is essential! Any suggestions of where to look? Can be anywhere in the UK but south east would be most convenient. The dates would probably be September to November/December
Any tips appreciated!

Start by searching for properties in an area you'd like to live in that suits your budget.

Reliable internet is quite common in the south east.

Thanks, I intend to, unfortunately the area I’m looking at has very limited rental accommodation, also the short rental period is an issue.

Those months would probably be low occupancy for holiday lets, so you might be able to get a good long term rate. Most places have good internet these days unless you are looking at really rural.

Or you could look at serviced apartments.

check out airbnb and send some enquires to suitable places. Even if they don't normally do that length of stay, over autumn / winter it will appeal to some.

Have you considered a house share ?
I see one or two people advertising on spareroom.com in a similar position to yourself.

Thanks, unfortunately I mostly work at night, and have to do zoom conference calls etc so I wouldn’t want to disturb other people’s sleep!

Would a WiFi dongle be good enough.

My daughter is currently working away and in very temporary accommodation for the summer so she bought a Three dongle for personal use which is good enough for  two to watch different films on.

She signed up to a rolling month deal. A bit more expensive but can give notice quicker than a longer contract.

Thanks, that may be an option!

Another alternative. Look at your phone deal as my son has unlimited data with Three and they allow him to use a lot of those gb as a hotspot. May already have what you need!

There are others that are night owls too. I myself work late so don't mind a bit of noise in the early hours..
