Should be 'save as to costs', yes.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Apologies if I am asking silly questions but do you mean to write 'save as to costs' in replace of bear our own costs? So the email would now read as below?
Without Prejudice
I am writing with reference to your email below and voicemail of ... where you stated that your client may be prepared to settle the matter outside of court and asked if I would be agreeable to have a without prejudice conversation in relation to settlement of the claim.
I do not wish to engage in a telephone conversation however if your client is willing to settle the matter outside of court I propose a drop hands offer and both myself and your client walk away save as to costs.
If your client is agreeable to this please let me know by replying to this email.
Regards

@KeithP is correct ... and if you read my earlier reply you'll see that I abbreviated Without Prejudice to WP then added Save As To Costs.RCDSP21 said:Apologies if I am asking silly questions but do you mean to write 'save as to costs' in replace of bear our own costs? Basically what it means is that WP is used for confidential negotiation between the parties. WP only means that it cannot be shown in court at all; WPSATC means it can be shown when it comes to ruling on costs after the claim has been heard, so communications which put the other party in a poor light can work to your advantage.

Just wanted to leave an update.
I received a letter from dcb legal yesterday (dated 13/12/21) saying that their client had instructed them to discontinue court proceedings. They also attached a copy of the N279 Notice of Discontinuance (also dated 13/12/21) which the letter says has been filed with the court. Should I email a copy of this letter to the court to ensure that they have received it?
Thank you so much to everyone who helped and offered advice, I am very grateful.

Why not ? You should definitely be checking with the court that the claim is discontinued and the hearing is vacated , yesRCDSP21 said:Just wanted to leave an update.

Well done ! Highview Parking ( Group Nexus ) and Dcb legal lose again , chickening out !! 😋😋
Not complying with POFA coupled with not knowing who was driving meant being on a loser , on the back foot. People should use this thread as an example when fighting Highview Parking or C P Plus claims as keeper , or any other similar non compliant cases too
Another one bites the dust !! 😁😁👍👍👍👍6 -

Hi I’m wondering if you can help. I’ve just received a claim form from DCB legal Ltd on behalf of Highview parking. The issue date is 16th March 2022. Yesterday the 24th I sent the AOS via money claim online. I also sent the SAR via email to Nexus group, copied from here. I messaged DCB legal via their website as couldn’t find their direct email address. Is that all correct? Also could you tell me the deadline I now have to file defence? I can’t the the defence template either. My fine was from 6 years ago in June. It was a disability car as I was going through treatment for cancer. I can’t really remember any details as so long ago. I think it was probably me driving but I was not the only one insured. My hubby was too. If I’m in a photo what they have then I assume I will have to say it was me. I don’t usually go into the town stated, but if it was me I vaguely recall going into a salon which I’ve never been to before. I parked behind it. I didn’t see but didn’t look to see if I had to pay. As it was behind the said shop. I was late so rushing. Can anyone help me? Thanks Jenny0
