Just doing my homework now, wasn’t really sure but the more I find out the more I am convinced.

I have also found an email address for Brembo, I have emailed then my concerns an am waiting for a reply.

I posted on here hoping a car mechanic or someone in the trade might say they get that all the time and nothing to worry about.

As Europe is now being flooded with fakes, I am not keen to take a chance and have them fitted. Will most likely be returning them unless I receive concrete information, they are good.

I should add I ordered a set for the wife’s Audi A3 a few weeks back from same place, they came with Hologram and QR Code, checked out fine and are fitted and are good, so maybe just unlucky this time.

Have you called GSF to see what they say about it? They must deal with thousands of disks.

They aren't bothered. It's not their car they are working on. As long as they are cheap the profit is good. It's the DIYers who obsess over parts quality. Spend hours trawling forums researching brands. The garages just fit anything they get.

I did,but they are not going to admit they somehow managed to send me fake discs are they?
It wouln't do their reputation any good.

Can you imagine a mechanic spending hours working out if brake discs are fake? If they are fakes they will still work. If they squeal tell the customer they are just bedding in. If they come back later it's wear and tear. Always got COVID to blame too. COVID will make them rust

I used Drivetec pads on my Mazda; seem fine. They were £9.99 from GSF for a set of 4 front pads.
