    In the worst case if you do not pay the installation charge, then either the installer or the shed supplier can take you to court for the unpaid balance. If it is ruled that you do not owe the 1st party who sues you, then the 2nd party can sue you. You can issue a counter claim against the shed supplier for putting matters right, which may or may not be upheld, but if it is ruled you owe the installer, I do not believe you can counter claim against them. If you lose you may be liable for the other side's court fees.

    On the other hand withholding the installation fee may galvanise the supplier into some sort of remedial action. But they may be pragmatic and decide that the remedial costs outweigh the installation fee, so do nothing.

    You will just have to wait and see.

    The company offered to take the shed back and refund your money. You refused. Terrible attitude to withhold payment from the installer. They can take you to court
